Freedom of Thought

Freedom of Thought offers readers the opportunity to approach questions of the moment from a variety of angles. In the great tradition of Socrates, one of the earliest educators famous for teaching his disciples to think critically, the Project encourages readers to ask questions and pursue answers. Before his death, Socrates defended his method of seeking the truth with the simple line, "the unexamined life is not worth living”—and the Project would like to offer a time and place to begin that serious examination: here and now.
